Dear Parents...End of First Marking Period Letter

The letter below is going home with your child tomorrow.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is Mrs. Roytblat your child’s English Language Arts (ELA) teacher and I just wanted to send you a quick note to send my greeting as well as make sure that you are aware of a few things.
First of all, and most importantly, we have Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, November 17th from 1-3 in the afternoon and again in the evening of that same day from 5:30-8. Even if your child is doing well, I still urge you to come as our partnership plays a hugely important role in your child’s success. I would love to meet with you and have plenty to share with you.

Secondly, as I’m sure you are aware, we have a class website and student BLOG site, both of which can be accessed from ravensview.yolasite.com If you have not been going on it is a great site full of multitudes of resources including your child’s homework, useful websites, and from now on updates from me. Lastly, we are planning on having a culture festival of thanks on Wednesday, November 23rd. If you would be able to assist us by bringing in a dish or cultural materials (blankets, clothes, musical instruments) that could be temporarily displayed in our institute, APVA, it would be greatly appreciated.
